January 5, 1931 - November 9, 2015 Devoted wife, loving mother, adoring grandmother, loving friend & neighbor, and dedicated educator. Resident of Fullerton for over 40 years, and former faculty at both Rosary High School (Spanish) and Fullerton College (ESL). She also worked for years as a technical translation consultant for Beckman Coulter in Brea, CA. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Sylvia met her husband of 56 years, Dr. Lawrence Przekop, while they were both teaching at the American School in Buenos Aires. They have three children. Lorraine (Spano), Frederick, and Adriene. As a family, they moved from Argentina to New York, then Costa Rica, Nepal, and finally settled in Fullerton in 1975. Sylvia has four grandsons, Taylor, Zachary, Dominick (Spano), and George (Spano). A memorial mass will be held at St. Juliana Falconieri Catholic Church, 1316 North Acacia Avenue, Fullerton, at 10am 11/24. A reception will be held in the church hall immediately following the mass. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you send donations to the , a charity Sylvia believed was worthy of her support, though she did not suffer from the disease.
