Tom, I'm going to pour one out for you tonight at Turks. I saw your picture on the wall and something made me research your name and I came across this page.
Never met you, but after reading about you I wish I had. We have a lot in common.
Fair winds and following seas, my friend. RIP.

Linda and the Comstock extended family-We owned the mooring in Avalon next to Toms' boat My Toy. He was such a special person and always ready for dancing and just having fun. Absolutely one of the most generous people I have ever known. He will be missed by so many who enjoyed his and Linda's company. Catalina Island will miss him especially. May he rest in peace--when he's not dancing in heaven!

To the Tomstock Family. We are sorry for your loss. Tom was a special person we knew in the past and he would call every once in a while to see how we were doing mixed with his special humor. Those calls will be missed.

I was shocked to learn of Tom's passing. Mary Ellen & I send our deepest regrets to the family in their sorrow. I was a law partner of Tom in the early 70s. We had some great times discussing politics and the antics of our other partners. Sometimes we even talked "law", but he and Walt Welch were "corporate" and John Joye and I were the litigators so at times there was some "failure to communicate." Was pleasantly surprised a few years back to meet Tom and Linda in the SEATAC airport. He was full of tales of his boating and retirement. Rest in peace, Tom (but he won't 'cause he was always so damn on the go.)

To the Comstock Family,
My mother and I were so sorry to hear of the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. My mother and I have not seen the family in almost 30 years. My father was one his law partners in Buena Park when I was just a child. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Dear Linda, Tom, Cheryl and Kevin and wives,
Thank you for letting me say that Tom Comstock was always willing, able and tough. He was very generous with hospitality on his boat and at home. He was our business partner and friend. We will miss him.

I have known Tom since he was 39 and he has always been a person who is on the go all the time. He has helped me out personally in starting my own practice as a CPA and I have tried to always be loyal to him over the years. I will miss him.
