Thomas J. Miranti Obituary
June 18, 1942 - July 17, 2017 Thomas "Tomo" Miranti passed away peacefully with his family by his side at home in Arcadia at the age of 75. He was born in 1942, in Chicago, IL, and raised in La Jolla, California. He attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and University of San Diego, California. He moved to Pasadena in the 1980's as a project manager with Bank of America, having managed the design and installation of the country's first ATM machines. Tom frequently entertained his many beloved friends and family members with his terrific sense of humor up until the last days of his life. He is remembered as an extraordinarily generous, happy, funny and kind man; instantly lighting up any room he walked into. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great friend. Tom is survived by his wife Priscilla Miranti of Arcadia, son Mark Miranti of Arcadia, daughters Cynthia Graham of San Diego and Lisa Montoya of Denver, CO, step-sons Robert Kirschke of Calimesa and Alan Kirschke of Glendora, brother James Miranti of San Diego, 13 talented grandchildren and his beloved dog Reggie. He will be greatly missed by his many adoring friends and family members. A service honoring Tom's life will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Cabot and Sons Funeral Home, 27 Chestnut Street, Pasadena.
