A special memory for Veronica was of the Bel Air Fire in 1961 when, as Postulant Mistress, she faced the task of supervising the evacuation of 61 postulants to the Doheny campus where they stayed for six months. She was always ready to celebrate anything, any time. She saw humor in everything and was ready with a chuckle or a good laugh. She always wanted to know "What's new?" "What's up? May she rest in peace. A Service of Remembrance will be held Monday, November 7, 2016 at 4:30pm with Funeral Mass at 6:30pm both at the Carondelet Center in Los Angeles.
