Victor was born in Brooklyn, New York at the outset of the Great Depression. Moving to Southern California in 1950, he served his country during the Korean War as a meteorologist in the US Air Force, then earned a Master's in Art at UCLA in 1961. He would later teach, and then earn a Master's degree in Education, Educational Psychology, Counseling and Guidance from CSUN in 1978, continuing his career with the LAUSD as a School Psychologist until retirement. Victor enjoyed his life-long passion for ceramics, and had many studios and showings of his Bauhaus-style creations.
