Virginia M. Wilson Obituary
Virginia Marie Wilson, beloved wife of Captain Ralph E. Wilson Jr. USN (Ret), passed peacefully in Dana Point on January 5, 2017. Virginia was born in Coos Bay, OR on September 10, 1922. She was raised in San Francisco where she attended Catholic schools. Shortly after graduation, she became the executive secretary to the Commander of the Army's 9th Signal Corps at the Presidio. She moved with the Corps to Salt Lake City for the duration of WW II. After the war, she returned to Los Angeles and married Marvin Kudroff and raised their son, Gary. Virginia was active in the North Hollywood Women's Club and as Club President, sponsored a cleanup effort in North Hollywood. She was also active in the Structural Engineers Auxiliary. She and Kudroff divorced and moved to Palos Verdes Estates where she held Real Estate and Public Relations positions until retiring. In 1991, she married Wilson. She was active in the PVE Women's Club. Ralph and Virginia moved to The Fountains at Sea Bluffs in Dana Point in 1999 and continued to enjoy life with their many new friends. Her ashes will be buried in Arlington National Cemetery in Ralph's gravesite. Virginia is survived by her husband, son Gary and his wife Laurie, granddaughter Alex, and step granddaughters Meredith and Laura Greenberg. Her grandson, Kiel Kudroff, pre-deceased Virginia in 2002
