Virginia Marie (Ginger) Robertson Obituary
September 19, 1932 - September 27, 2015 Ginger Robertson passed away two years ago in San Ramon, CA, from a sudden cerebral hemorrhage. Ginger was born in Phoenix, AZ, to Orrick Robertson and Irene Holt Robertson. She spent much of her childhood in Tucson, AZ, before moving to California where she attended Grant Union High School in Sacramento. She was married to Glenn Otto for 33 years and had three children. She was a pre-school teacher at Canyon Co-op Preschool in Hollywood, CA, for many years before starting her career as Bill Hanna's Secretary/Production Assistant at Hanna Barbera, until retiring in 1996. She loved hiking, traveling, gardening, quilting, and especially spending time with her family. The loss of her was as devastating as the memories of our time with her are now so precious. She is survived by her siblings Kathleen Heaslet, James Robertson and John Robertson; her children Steven Otto, Karen Edelman, and David Otto, her son-in-law Mark Edelman, daughter-in-law Linda Otto, and her 4 grandchildren. Her ashes were scattered by family in Yosemite Valley on August 6, 2016 behind the Yosemite Valley Chapel. She is remembered in The Book of Memories in the chapel and her name is on The Honor Wall at the Visitor's Center in Yosemite Valley.
