Wayland Edward (Eddie) Moore of Long Beach, California, died on November 17, 2017 after a long illness. He was 78 years old. Growing up on the Natchez Trace, he was the youngest of seven children born to Ethel Bird Moore and Felix M. Moore of Cypress Inn, Tennessee. He attended high school in Collinwood, Tennessee, and received a partial scholarship to attend Berry College, where he worked on campus to supplement his tuition. He is survived by his wonderful friend Mary Lou Navidad of Long Beach, California, sisters Josephine Roberts and Ethelene Garrison of Bartow, Florida, brother Winfred Moore and his wife Betty Moore of New Albany, Indiana, and ten nieces and nephews.
