April 23, 1928 - November 1, 2015 Bill Muller, age 87, passed away from a cerebral hemorrhage at Eisenhower Medical Center in Palm Desert on November 1st, with his daughter Cathy and sister Helen by his side. He was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Sarah Corbet Muller ("Sally"), son William Corbet Muller ("Cory"), and son Christopher R. Muller. He is survived by daughter Catherine Muller Clevenger, Grandchildren: Kathleen Clevenger, Christopher Clevenger (and wife April), Laura Clevenger, and great-granddaughter "Miss Isabel" Clevenger (age 3), all from Seattle. He is also survived by his beloved sister Helen Salmond, brother Robert Muller (and wife Fran), 6 nieces/nephews, 20 grand-nieces/nephews and a special life-long friend and "companera", Barbara Malone. Bill was a graduate of Whittier HS and UCLA, where he was a member of the Fiji fraternity; he was a Lt in the US Navy during the Korean War; worked in advertising/marketing in the L.A. area for many years and owned Muller Marine in San Pedro. He was actively involved as a board member of the Banning Museum, actively participating with the Palm Desert Chaparral "Niner's" golf group, and had been involved with both the L.A. Maritime Institute and the Palos Verdes Breakfast Club. A memorial for Bill will be held at the Banning Museum, Stagecoach Barn, 401 E. M St, Wilmington, CA, on November 22, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.
