Lex, Clay and Fran,

So sorry to hear about Phil. He was an amazing man and gave me some of the best advice I ever got about the business. He also had a wicked sense of humor that was so much fun. Very sorry to hear about your loss.

Sorry to hear the sad news about Phil. We remember him and you fondly from our South American cruise. He was lots of fun. Coincidentally Berny was watching "The Wind and the Lion" on Turner Classic Movies and saw Phil's name as second unit director.

Dear Fran,
My name is Jimmy Glatter. You probably won't remember me , but through Phil we met at the NSPRA finals in Winnemucca, Nv.
I just wanted to pass on my sympathy to you and your family, on Phils passing. What short time I knew Phil through the NSPRA rodeos was a blessing to me. What a good guy he was, always with a story to tell.
I enjoyed his company and he will be sorely missed.

Fran, I'm sorry to hear about Phil, and sorry I'm not there to go to his service. I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciated everything Phil did for me in my life. Helping me learn how to rope in his arena, to getting me into the movie industry. He was a great man and I will miss talking with him and sharing a laugh.

Phil was my great-uncle, and I loved getting to see him. He would give me horseback rides and taught me how to steer the horse. I have so many memories of him and I will never forget him!

A totally genuine gentleman. We are so Blessed to have Phil in our lives for the years we did. His life accomplishments are more than the average person could hope to do. We cherish the times we were able to spend with him. His two sons are very special to us as well. We thank God for the Rawlins.
