We never met, only spoke on the phone a few time and exchange Christmas cards. My Mom, your 1st cousin told me stories of you and her in your youth. The World was a better place with you.
Your cousin,

As my teacher, Dr. Patterson showed tremendous kindness, he recognized when I may have needed an extra boost of confidence. He always greeted me with "Good morning, Gina darling!" He also expressed courage on my behalf by immediately and directly addressing a horrific situation which I found myself as a young high school student. Dr. Patterson wrote a very descriptive letter detailing the situation and promised I would be safe. HE WAS MY HERO! I will miss you, Dr. Patterson.

Dr. Patterson was one of the kindest, wisest, loving, leader of a man for those of us that were students at Hollywood High School. He was the consummate gentleman. We all loved him, and secretly had crushes on him. His laughter, joyful eyes, and zest for life, were contagious. A brilliant mind, his ability to engage in conversations with his students, and his kindness will always be remembered.
The Coronel family sends hugs.

Uncle Jerry was very polite and very interesting to talk with. He traveled to every country in the world that he could get to. He comforted me when my mother passed away. He said that he believed that it was just her time and she was in a better place now. Although I will miss him dearly, I know he is in a better place now also.

Jerry was a very kind individual. I never heard him criticize another human being. He was generous and hard working. Finally, he never complained anything even though he was in poor health, you would never know it. Rest In Peace JP
