Kevin Deverich

DEVERICH, Kevin Hotelier Kevin Deverich died unexpectedly at his home September 29, 2006. He was born in Beverly Hills, CA but traveled the world. He graduated Valedictorian of the International School in Geneva, Switzerland and attended the London School of Economics and Wharton School of Management. In London, he became involved with music's "English Invasion" as manager of The Animals, a 1960's hit rock group that accompanied the Beatles on world tour. Kevin's career with Hilton Hotels spanned 30 years serving as General Manager of many prestigious Hilton properties, including New York, Miami, Washington DC and Beverly Hills. While at the Capitol Hilton, he was closely associated with prominent political and social leaders in Washington, many of whom became personal friends. After retiring from the Beverly Hilton, he joined Merv Griffin as consultant and later was President of Griffin Hotels. Most recently he was associated with Crown Realty & Development. Kevin is survived by his wife Amanda, and daughters Madeleine (twelve) and Samantha (eight). Memorial Service Friday October 6 at 11 a.m. Bel Air Presbyterian Church, 16221 Mulholland Drive.
