June 21, 1934 - August 7, 2015 Born in Sharon, PA Character actor of stage, television and film for 58 years. Sculptor in metal and clay, creating dynamic, sensual, figurative forms. Passionate advocate for social and economic justice, empowerment of working people, preservation of ecology and life on the planet over profit, supporter of LGBT and women's rights. His generosity in contributing to and protecting the most vulnerable in society was boundless. A lover of theater, motorcycles, modern dance, jazz, folk, story telling, singing. Survived by wife Heidi Rorick-Evans, daughters Willow Evans, Michelle Green, step-children Kate and Justin Schaffer, Grandson, Zachary McMillan, sister Pamela Wilson, nephews Ken and Jeff (Christy) Zwetsch, Scott (Amy) Jacobs, niece Kim Wilson and a beautiful breadth of cherished friends. Preceded in death by sister Judy (Clay) Bradley and parents Ivor and Valerie Evans. He died August 7th, surrounded by family and friends. In honor of Terry please contribute to Bernie Sanders' campaign, organizations promoting Latino voter registration, the Sierra Club and Groundwork Institute. Memorial to be announced.
