Fritz Geiser Obituary

GEISER, Fritz (Frederick Schoentgen) Born July 7, 1929 in Council Bluffs, IA to Karl Frederick and Jane Schoentgen Geiser, died October 19, 2007. Fritz attended St. John's Military Academy, Delafield, WI and received his BA from USC where he joined Phi Delta Theta. Artist, musician, historian, linguist, Fritz was a man of many gifts, not the least of which was his capacity for friendship. Mourning his loss are his sister Gretel and brother-in-law George Stephens; his nephews and nieces, Thad and Lillie Stephens and their children Atticus and Emerson-Jane, Ned and Cathy Stephens and Mary Stephens; his cousins and their children; his many friends at Scripps Kensington and beyond. A memorial/celebration will be held Wednesday, November 21, 2 p.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church, 132 N. Euclid, Pasadena. In lieu of flowers, donations in Fritz's memory would be appreciated at the Scripps Kensington, 1428 S. Marengo Ave., Alhambra 91803 or Armory Center for the Arts (gallery program), 145 N. Raymond Ave., Pasadena 91103. Mountain View Mortuary.
