Anna Beatrice Doe Seufert Obituary
Anna Beatrice Doe Seufert Anna Beatrice Doe Seufert passed away quietly on the evening of July 27, 2018 in Long Beach, California. Her passing, a few months after her 92nd birthday celebration, ended a week filled with visits from family, friends and fellow church members. Ann will be remembered as a "solid rock" in the greater Long Beach area. She served her community in so many positive ways: decades as a volunteer for her church communities, including St. John's Presbyterian and Grace First Presbyterian; decades in the PTA (primarily George Washington Carver Elementary School); decades with the PEO organization; and numerous peace and justice efforts. Her family and friends were extremely important to her. She was incredibly generous, and a tireless mother of three children, grandmother (and great-great-grandmother) to many grandchildren, Aunt, cousin, and supportive friend to many. She is survived by her brother, Tom Doe; daughter, Diana; sons, Dana and Tim; daughter-in-law, Yolanda Molette; many grandchildren and other relatives, and many fans and friends. She was married nearly six decades to another stalwart community member and family man, George Seufert, who passed away in 2005. Ann graduated from Long Beach Polytechnic High in 1943 and studied at Long Beach City College and elsewhere. Over her life, she worked for F&M Bank and Smith Oil Tool. Services will be held at 9:30 AM on August 25th at Grace First Presbyterian Church in Long Beach (and any donations should be directed to the church).
