Mary Lou Clark passed into the certain safekeeping of Our Lord, December 11, 2017 at Long Beach Community Hospital, Long Beach, CA. She was born in Firebaugh, CA January 18, 1949 to her beloved parents Jim and Maereen Williams. She was 68.

Mary Lou attended Dos Palos High School where she met her future husband, Tim Clark and many lifelong friends. She graduated from DPHS in 1967 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Fresno State University in 1971. She and husband Tim moved to Long Beach, CA in 1971 where Tim continued his education at Long Beach State.

Her business career included a software development project support analyst for McDonnell Douglas Physician Systems, a medical supplies coordinator for the Cardiology Department of Long Beach Memorial Hospital, and a customer service representative for The Standard Register Company.

But foremost, Mary Lou is remembered by her family as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Hospitality to her family and friends and those of her children and siblings were her hallmark. She loved her family beyond measure, providing nurturing, loving care to her grandchildren on a regular basis, without hesitation.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jim and mother, Maereen Williams of Firebaugh, CA and her brother, John Williams of Dos Palos, CA.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Tim Clark of Long Beach, CA; daughter, Kelly Holt, husband, David, and grandson, Jonah of Long Beach, CA; daughter, Kerry Clark and grandson, Isaac of Seattle, WA; daughter Katherine Doherty, husband Alan, granddaughter Ashling, and grandson Finn of Los Angeles, CA; brother Jimmie Williams and wife Nancy of Madera, CA; brother Charles Williams and wife Lois of Lewiston, ID; brother Dennis Williams and wife Sonia of Mill Valley, CA; and sister Carol Baskin and husband Richard of Fresno, CA.

A Memorial Mass was celebrated Dec. 20 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Long Beach, CA. She was laid to rest afterward at All Souls Cemetery, Long Beach, CA.
