Rosanne Patricia O'Brien

May 27, 1943 - February 21, 2018

Rosanne was born in Philadelphia, second of five sisters and moved to California where she began her remarkable career.
Until her retirement, she was Corporate Vice President of Communications Northrop Grumman Corporation and a member of the company's corporate council.
From 1993 to 1999, Rosanne served as vice president of corporate communications for Teledyne Inc. Previously, she spent nine years with Glendale Federal Bank, rising to the position of senior vice president and director of corporate relations. Prior to Glendale Federal, she spent 11 years at Tiger International/Flying Tigers where she progressed to director of corporate communications.
Rosanne received a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Redlands and completed an executive program at Stanford University. She was chairman of the Communications Council of the Aerospace Industries Association and a member of the National Investor Relations Institute and Organization of Women Executives. She was on the board of directors of Boys Town California, a trustee of the California Science Center, and served on the board of Special Olympics, Southern California.
Rosanne is survived by sisters, Tina Vince, Julie Swanson and Kathleen O'Brien; stepdaughters, Gretchen Cuenca and Kierstyn Bishop. She was privileged to enjoy the company of many nieces, nephews and friends. Her generosity touched many.
