THOMAS "CHIP" MONTGOMERY EVAUL Thomas Montgomery Evaul, 49 years old, living in Long Beach, California passed away at home June 23, 2004, after a 4 1/2 year battle with breast cancer. Beloved husband of Lise Kim Evaul, devote d son of Thomas and Constance Evaul, Merchantville, NJ; loving brother and brother-in-law of Anne Evaul and Michael Wisnosky, Moorestown NJ, and Philip Evaul and Heather Jones, Annapolis, MD. Chip was a graduate of William Penn Charter School, Philadelphia, class of 1973, attended Princeton University and graduated from Temple University, class of 1980. He was named to the All-American High School Diving Team in 1973 and was a nationally ranked sailor. With his wife, Lise, he owned and operated Iko Iko Moto rsports, a Porsche restoration business, and was also an avid Porsche racer. Chip was a Director for the United States Sailing Center, was a member of the U.S. Sailing Association, the Porsche Club of America-Grand Prix Region and the USGA. A memorial service for invited friends and family will be held at the Long Beach Yacht Club. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Team Spirit, designating the "Chip Evaul Breast Cancer Fund" benefiting breast cancer patients at Team Spirit, P.O. Box 1315, Long Be ach, CA 90801.
