Mary Lou Carson, 86, of Las Cruces, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013. She was born July 10, 1926 in Fort Cobb, Okla. to William and Ada Lou Bailey Tucker. She had been very active with the V.F.W., enjoyed antique cars and playing dominoes. Mary Lou will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her sisters Barbara Skaggs and husband Leon of Las Cruces and Joan Killian of Claremore, Okla.; four grandchildren, Brian, Brenda, Brent and Cash and by numerous nieces and nephews. Mary Lou is preceded in death by her son Tom; sisters La Vada and La Vana; brothers Tommy, Van and Tommy Ray. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013 at Getz Funeral Home. Graveside services to celebrate her life are at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 25, 2013 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her loving husband William Carson.
