To the Lara family. No words can express the sadness I feel for the loss of Steve. He was a true gentleman. He was a generous and loving man. He was wonderful to my Mother Elpidia and my Tia Kela. May Steve rest in peace. You are in my prayers.

I am so honored to have known Uncle Steve and even more honored that he let me call him Uncle Steve even though I am pretty sure I never asked he never seemed to mind. He will forever be embedded in my childhood memories as a kind, funny, and humble man!
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I have no doubt of the family reunion taking place in heaven and that Uncle Steve will continue to watch over each and everyone of you. Love you all!
