Jack Macy Obituary

Jack C. Macy, 82 of Apple Valley, CA formerly of Las Cruces, NM, passed away Wednesday June 20, 2007. Jack was born in Long Beach, CA, to John and Essie Macy. He was the Manager of JC Penney from 1967-1974.
He served his country in the Navy during WWII. Moved to Las Cruces, NM in 1967 and managed JC Penney in Loretto Mall until 1974. During his time in Las Cruces he served on the Aggie Booster Board, First National Bank, Chamber of Commerce and was President of the Loretto Merchant Association.
Jack is survived by wife Ivadel Macy: One son John Macy and his wife Jessie of Apple Valley, CA; daughter Suzi Behrns and her husband Pat of Omaha, Nebraska, 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents John and Essie Macy and his daughter Jacquelynn Macy.
Services will be held Saturday June 23, 2007 at Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Apple Valley, CA.

Sir, I did not know you, but I would like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Navy during WW II.
