Maria Guadalupe "Mary" Guadiana, 88, a resident of Bayard, NM entered eternal rest Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Fort Bayard Medical Center. She was born in Hurley, NM on April 1, 1930 to Pedro and Maria Diaz. She married the love of her life Manuel Guadiana in November 15, 1950 in Bayard, NM. She was a communicate of Infant Jesus Shrine, and served in retreats with the Sacred Heart group. She had various jobs in her lifetime, those being Luisa's restaurant, Porter Oil, Cobre High School, and family grocery. She loved gardening and picking roses. She is survived by five children, Juan, Andy (Holly), Gilbert (Elizabeth), Ruben, and Patsy (Tony); thirteen grandchildren, Mary Helen, Amanda (Steven), Ruben, Analicia (Gary), Juan Diego, Estevan, Manuel (Athena), Sonia, Celeste (Jack), Eileen, Javier, Elias, and Elianah; five great-grandchildren, Amelia, Arabella, Andrea, William and Azzalyn; her sister, Juanita Martinez of Hurley; a sister-in-law, Priscilla Diaz of Hurley; a brother-in-law, Danny Huerta; seventeen nieces and nephews, David Jr., Olivia, Peter, Marty, Richard, Donna, Jeffrey, Tony, Michael, Michelle, Daniel, Michael, David, John, Lorraine, Phillip and Peter. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Manuel Guadiana (2015), her brother, David Diaz, and her sister, Mary Helen Huerta. Visition will be Wednesday, May 9 from 9-10am at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the holy rosary being recited by Deacon David Castañon reciting. The funeral liturgy will follow at 11:30am at Our Lady of Fatima Church with Father Abraham Soliz officiating. Concluding services and interment will take place at Fort Bayard National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mary Helen Sherman, Analicia Montenegro, Celeste Neville, Sonia Guadiana, Peter Martinez, Lorraine Chavira, Ruben Guadiana Jr., and Manuel Guadiana.
