This is a late entry as I only recently learned of Josh's passing. Josh was a fellow nursing classmate & was always nice to talk with. Four years ago my son was a pt @ HMC & I bumped into Josh a few times while I visited my son & He would stop & chat with me & ask how my son was doing. I was touched by his genuine concern. I felt compelled to write this so that it may give his family a source of comfort in knowing he touched so many lives. Continued Thoughts and Prayers!

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Josh. Growing up & going to school together, I remember Josh's infectious personality, smile, laugh, love for life & how he always knew the right thing to say or do to make you feel better. The class of 2000 wouldn't have been the same without him. I will keep his loved ones, in my thoughts and prayers. May you rest in peace Josh.

I went to high school with Josh and played baseball with him when we were kids. While I wasn't close to him, he was always a very kind person with a great heart. Incredibly sad to hear he lost his battle with cancer, but his suffering has come to an end. My best wishes to his family and closest friends.

Josh fought a very humble and private battle with leukemia. No matter how rundown he was with treatments, he always had a smile on his face and brought joy to others. When I started at the Hershey Medical Center five years ago, I saw Josh in the hallway as a fellow employee; he was a nurse in the cancer center. The very disease he helped his patients to battle on a daily basis, ended up being his own personal struggle. I went from passing him in the hallway as a coworker to seeing him at the hospital as a patient. I am so saddened to hear of his passing. He was a strong person; full of character and a vibrant passion for life. God bless his family and friends as they come to terms with this great loss.

My heart breaks for all of you. I find myself crying thinking about this terrible loss. I have always admired your family - back since all the boys were little. I loved hearing Josh talking about working with horses; he was so joyful. I believe Josh is free from pain and suffering now, surrounded by horses running free and the love of all who knew him. Please accept my condolences
