Lee L. Karsnitz MANHEIM Lee L. Karsnitz, 87, formerly of Richland, Lebanon County, died Monday, February, 2, 2015, after a brief illness. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Charles J. and Clara Klopp Karsnitz. For over 35 years Lee worked as a manufacturing engineer in the Military Products division for Hamilton Watch, Lancaster. Lee served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He had a passion for horses and enjoyed riding throughout the years. Lee was the Horse Show Announcer for the Lampeter Fair for 25 years. His interests included bird watching and rooting for his favorite teams, the Phillies and Eagles. Surviving are two sons, Brian David Karsnitz, fiance of Deirdre Kohr of York, and Blair Alan Karsnitz of Manheim; and two daughters, Barbara Jean Karsnitz of Lititz, and Brooke Ellen Karsnitz, wife of Xavier Arias of East Petersburg. Preceding him in death were a daughter, Elizabeth Karsnitz; a sister, Shirley Weaver; and two brothers, James and Charles Karsnitz. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Lee's memorial service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at 10 a.m. Please omit flowers.
