Palmyra - Lester D. Hollinger, 84, died Monday, August 6, 2018 at his residence at Londonderry Village.

He was the husband of Patricia A. (Koppenhaver) Hollinger, who died May 21, 2012.

Born in Bethel Twp., PA on December 2, 1933, he was the son of the late Paul Henry and Margaret Catherine (Heddinger) Hollinger.

Lester was a member of Palm Lutheran Church, Palmyra. He was employed as a truck driver at Interstate Dress Carriers and NRT, Myerstown, for over 30 years. Lester also worked at the Manheim Auto Auction for 16 years. He was a member of the Mt. Olivet Lodge No. 704, Lebanon, the Hershey Region Car Club, and PA Region Car Club. He was a former member, Steward, and past Grand Tall of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon of North America, Quittapahilla Forest #25, Fredericksburg.

Lester is survived by a daughter, Margaret Hollinger, of Lebanon; grandchildren, Michael Dunlap, of New Hampshire, Mary Peters, of Elizabethtown; great-grandchildren, Kaisen Foxhoven, Keelyn Foxhoven, and Elena Dunlap; sisters, Grace Craun, of Lebanon, Anna Mae Curry, of Benton, PA; brother, Marvin, husband of Carol Hollinger, of Schaefferstown; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved cat, Jack. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Elaine Dunlap; and a sister, Mildred Lowe.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 10, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, preceded by a viewing beginning at 10 a.m. Masonic service at 10:45 a.m. Interment will be at New Union Cemetery, Myerstown.
