Bernice W. Bashore

Bernice W. Bashore PALMYRA Bernice W. Bashore, 82, of 1080 Debra Drive, Palmyra, died Monday, March 17, 2008, in her residence. She was the wife of Jay L. Bashore, to whom she was married to for 61 years. Born in Annville on February 10, 1926, she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret Hardick Windle. She was employed by Hershey Foods Corp. in the miniature wrapping department, retiring in 1989, and was a 1944 graduate of Annville High School. Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, William C. and wife Lynn ShafferBashore of Hershey, Gregory L. Bashore, at home; and a daughter, Bonnie Sponseller of Scotland, Pa.; three grandchildren, Kara Sponseller of Richmond, Va., Jamie BashoreWatts, wife of Roger Watts of Fayetteville, N.C., and Josh Bashore of Key West, Fla.; and one great-grandson, Addison G. Watts of Fayetteville, N.C. Also surviving is a sister, Carolyn Touchton of Reading. Memorial services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home, 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. No Viewing.
