James Sholley Obituary
James M. Sholley LEBANON James M. Sholley, 84, passed away at home on Monday, April 8, 2013. He was born in Schafferstown, a son of the late Ira and Mary Rutter Sholley. He was the husband of Ardith M. Moyer Sholley to whom he would have been married to for 64 years on June 26th. Mr. Sholley was employed as a Miner for 19 years in Cornwall and then a Staff Sargent at Lebanon County Prison until he retired. He also was a dog groomer part time. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict. He was a member of the F&AM Blue Lodge #226, 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason, Scottish Rite Valley of Harrisburg, Tall Cedars, First EC Church, Lebanon where he and Ardith were together in the Wedding Ring Sunday School Class. Surviving are his wife; children, Trevette L. Seifert, Lewes, Del; K.J., husband of Laura Sholley, Matthews, N.C.; Lorell, wife of Ed Rueppel, Lebanon and Todd M. Sholley of Vista, Calif.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Sholley of Calif.; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters. A funeral service will be held in the Rohland Funeral Home Inc. 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, Pa., 17042 on Friday at 9 a.m. with his pastor Rev. Alfred Miller officiating. A visitation will be from 8 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. A Masonic service will be held at 8:45 a.m. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. Contributions may be made in James memory to his church, First E.C. Church 6th and Chestnut St., Lebanon, Pa., 17042.
