Jeanette V. McCaskill, 85, of Laurel, died Sunday, July 20, 2008, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel.A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, at Lake Park Cemetery in Laurel. The Rev. Glenn McElhenney will officiate.Mrs. McCaskill was a member of Evangel Temple. She owned and operated a beauty shop.Survivors include her husband, John E. McCaskill of Laurel; one son and daughter-in-law, John W. and Diane McCaskill and one daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Jerry McCaskill Brown, all of Laurel; four grandchildren, John W. McCaskill Jr. and wife Heather of Ellisville, Lacey M. Sumrall and husband Sam of Bay Springs, Kelly B. Perdue and husband Brian and David J. Brown and his wife Lisa, all of Laurel; three great-grandchildren; and one sister-in-law Quida M. Patterson and her husband Bill of Florence.Memory Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
