Bernice passed away peacefully with family by her side at the age of 85 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Alden; her children Judy, Valerie (Dean), Melanie (Martin) and Ward (Line and Stephanie); grandchildren Trevor, Angela (Jody), Melissa, Keiton; great- grandchildren Aurora and Satynne; her brother-in-law George;, sister-in-law Uella;, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their families. Bernice was very active in her church and community, and as a result established many close friendships over the years, as well as receiving several awards for community service. She was kind, loving and considerate to all those around her. Bernice enjoyed cooking, baking, knitting and sewing for her family and attended to everyone's needs. She was always happiest when surrounded by her family and friends. Bernice touched the lives of all who knew her and will be sadly missed. The family extends their sincere appreciation to Dr. Carol Geddes for her dedication and compassion throughout the years. Many thanks also to the Parkside Extendicare Nursing Home for the kindness and care provided to Bernice during her time there. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 4825 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, January 25 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Lynn Robertson officiating.
