FISHER-Clarence Frank, late of Regina, SK passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2006 at 75 years of age. Clarence was born in Bruno, SK on June 30, 1931 where his parents, Raymond and Sophie (nee Moorman) Fisher managed a store and post office. About 1945 he moved to St. Gregor, SK where he continued his schooling and began learning the building supply trade with Reliance Lumber. Eventually he moved to Regina where he managed a Reliance Lumber Store just north of the city. Four years later he bought the business and changed its name to Fisher Building Supplies. Over the next 40 years he took pride in serving the building needs of countless residents of Regina and area. He was known for his honesty and extending needed credit under risk. In 2003 he closed the business and retired. After the death of his wife, Verna (nee Krahulic), concluding a 30 year union, Clarence married Ruth Abrahamson (nee Iverson) on November 28, 2002. Though their time together was short they found love and companionship in each other. During the last few years of his life, Clarence suffered with Parkinson's Disease. It slowed him mentally and physically but it did not rob him of two good qualities generosity and kindness. For sure these fine traits have been noticed by his Creator above. Clarence is survived by his wife, Ruth; stepchildren, Tracy and Terry Gerlitz of Calgary, AB; a sister, Ramona Classen of Humboldt, SK, as well as many good friends. A public Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at the Regina Apostolic Church, 808 Assiniboine Ave. E., Regina, SK. Interment of cremated remains will be in Rocky View Garden of Peace Cemetery, Calgary, AB. Condolences can be e-mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
