I just thought of my friend Kent from a very many years ago, and the good times we had at Charleston Lake, and googled his name. Though it's been decades since we were in touch, I'm (belatedly) very sorry to hear of his passing, and wish all the best to surviving family and friends. I think it must be 40 years since I saw him last, but won't forget.

I was so sad to hear about Kent, we worked together at the Leg Building in the 80's and then again he gave me a job when I desperately needed one at Advance Moving. Kent was so kind to me many times through the following years-I'm sad now I wasn't better at keeping in touch.
My sympathies to your family

Karen,
Having only had the oppurtunity to get to know Kent in the last couple of years through Orange Cafe, we were very saddened to here of his sudden passing. Kent always took the opportunity to chat and get to know us when we would pop in to say hi. He will be missed by all. Our deepest sympathies.

Karen,
I was very saddened to hear of Kent's passing. I worked with Kent many years ago in the Leg Building, and then had the pleasure of seeing him over the years at the Kitchen Shop and then at his coffee shop. He always had a smile, took the time to talk and was such a nice, pleasant man. I will miss seeing him.

Karen we are saddened to hear of Kent's passing. Not a week has gone by this year without one of us asking the other if we had seen Kent on the street or at the Cafe. The last chat we had in the neighbourhood ended with a laugh as he jumped into his car. We will miss his smile and kind heart and our thoughts are with you.

I met a lot of great people when i worked in the pro shop of the Royal Regina golf club. And Kent was one of those people. His face would light up everytime he walked into the shop and if i was in a crappy mood that day, it went away before Kent ventured out onto the first tee box. Eventually he became my boss and my friend. And i have great memories of him and i sitting at Alfredo's talking about what we were going to do with our futures. Hopefully Kent, you are making great memories whereever you are.

Karen, my thoughts and hugs are with you.

As a patron of the Orange Cafe I have only had the pleasure of meeting Kent in the past few years. He was always welcoming with a smile and often took the time to visit while I enjoyed a coffee or latte. One the of the best persons I have met in my lifetime. Kent will always be remembered.
