NORMA ELEANORA SCHIENBEIN
(nee ULMER)
July 4, 1932 – November 13, 2017
On Monday, November 13, 2017 Norma passed away peacefully at Wascana Grace Hospice at the age of 85 years. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur (2007); eldest son Wayne and grandsons Brent and Ryan (1992); her parents Peter and Mary Ulmer; eldest brother Alfred and sister-in-law Margaret Ulmer; brother-in- law Colin Schienbein; mother-in-law Margaret Rathgeber; father-in-law John Schienbein; and brothers-in-law Raymond and Darrell Schienbein. Norma is survived by her daughter Corinne (Kurt) Schemmer; son Scott (Evelyn) Schienbein; grandchildren Kevin, Stacey (Ian) Schemmer and Jasmine Schienbein; sister Ruth Schienbein; brother Raymond (Lorraine) Ulmer; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation for family and friends will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at New Hope Lutheran Church, 370 McIntosh Street, Regina, SK, on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Dennis Lueck Officiating. Private family interment in Regina Memorial Gardens. The family wishes to thank all of the caring, compassionate staff at Regina Wascana Grace Hospice for the outstanding care they provided for our mother for the last five weeks and to Major Sharon for her daily visits and prayers.
