June 29, 1917 - May 15, 2015
Died at the Ottawa General Hospital with her daughter by her side. Predeceased by her beloved husband Lewis, in 1983, her parents Gertrude and John Telford, and her sister Mabel. Survived and sorely missed by her daughter Jeannie in Ottawa and son Robert in Victoria, nieces Geri and Val Inglis of Whitby and Petrolia, Ontario respectively. Interment to take place at a later date with her husband and parents in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Helen and I were saddened to hear of Margaret's passing. We remember her bright presence, generosity and warm hospitality to us and our then small children. I also recall very well her great Telford sense of humour and her grasp of history. She ill be missed.

Margaret was a wonderful person, friend and mother. Her warmth, intelligence, sincerity and sense of humour were her armour against much pain her later years. She never complained and was a pleasure to be around...Like her family and friends I will miss her and her interest in all of us. She had a wonderful life. My sincere condolences.
