Leo Myers Obituary

Leo G. Myers, 87, of St. Petersburg, Fla., formerly of Ramsey, passed away at home under the care of family and Hospice on June 13, 2015.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday in the chapel of R. Lee Williams and Son Funeral Home in St. Petersburg. Memorials: Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
Mr. Myers was born on Aug. 19, 1927, in Ramsey, the son of Leo and Gertrude Fromm Myers.
He taught for 12 years at Pinellas Marine Institute during the late 1970s and 1980s, then at other Pinellas County schools. He proudly served his country in the Navy during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by children, Cynthia and her husband Richard Baker of Pinellas Park, Fla., Michael Myers and his wife Pam of Moweaqua, and Jerry Myers and his wife Johanna of St. Petersburg, Fla.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by Peggy, his loving wife of 62 years, and his parents.
