Martin Wade "Marty" Yeager (1961 - 2016)


Martin Wade "Marty" Yeager, 55, passed away on Aug. 19, 2016, after an extended illness.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10, at the Vandalia Lake pavilion.
Mr. Yeager was born on Feb. 24, 1961, in Los Angeles, Calif. to the late Elbert Eugene Yeager and Opal Mae (Anderson) Yeager.
Marty served in the U.S. Army. He loved fishing, playing his guitar and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his children, Amber and Brad Cearlock of Alton, Breanna and Levi Sasse of Vandalia Illinois, Jackson Yeager of Martin, Tenn., Ashley Yeager of Henderson, Tenn., and Blake Yeager of Union City, Tenn.; grandchildren, Rylee, Kinlee and Natalee Sasse, and Lillian Cearlock; sister, Sheila Yeager Parker and husband Wayne Parker of Union City, Tenn., sister, Susan Yeager Flemming of Vandalia; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Danny and Ronnie Yeager.
