Raymond A. Henna Sr., 74, of Brownstown, passed away at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, at his home.
Cremation rites were accorded, and private burial and services will be held at a later date. Memorials: Fayette County Health Department Hospice. Hohlt and File Funeral Home in Vandalia was in charge of arrangements. Online condolences can be expressed at www.hohltandfilefh.com.
Mr. Henna was born on Dec. 5, 1943, in Vandalia, the son of Herbert "Marvin" Henna and Dorothy (Williams) Elder.
He worked for several years as a laborer, was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was a member of Vandalia VFW Post 3862.
He is survived by his son, Raymond Henna Jr. and wife April of Brownstown; daughters, Debra and husband James Reibel of Brownstown, Angela and husband Terry Thompson of Vandalia, and Charlene and husband Chris Lail of New York; grandson, Chaz Henna; brothers, Dale Henna and wife Kay, Larry Henna and wife Carol, Dallas Henna and wife Daisy, Danny Hipsher, Wilbert Vaughn and wife Marsha, and Gailin Vaughn; sisters, Jean Whitford, and Mae and husband Don Swofford.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charles Thomas Henna.
