Paul Cox, 89, Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018.
He was born in Casey County. He lived the majority of his life in Kentucky. He was an antique dealer, farmer, and member of Woodlawn Baptist Church. He was also a dealer in old tractors and gas engines. He loved Ham Days and anything about the civil war. He loved his friends and food. He spent 33 years in Florida during the winter.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, John Bill Cox and Bessie Hatfield Cox; brother, Charles Cox; and sister, Irene Boots.
Survivors include: his wife of 70 years, Sarah Riley Cox of Lebanon; two sons, Rick (Phyllis) Cox and John (Terri) Cox, all of Lebanon; two daughters, Pat (Robert) Miller of Lebanon and Mary "Sweetie" (Chris) Drury of Bardstown; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21, at Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, with interment in Ryder Cemetery. Rev. David Butler and Everett Gear officiated.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Woodlawn Baptist Church.
Pallbearers were Scott Cox, John A. Cox, Jonathan Drury, Mark Brown, Tony Ballard, and Christopher Drury.
