Thomas Warren "Tom" Bagwell, 77, Lebanon, passed away at 7:55 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 2, 2018 at his home after an illness.
A native of Marion County, he was born on July 23, 1941 to the late Milton Jarboe and Anna Lorene Benedict Bagwell. He was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church, an U.S. Army veteran, and a retired welding instructor at the Lebanon Vocational School.
He was preceded in death by: a son, Todd Allen Bagwell on Jan. 19, 2006; and a brother, Milton J. Bagwell Jr. on Dec. 7, 2013.
Survivors include: his wife, Joyce Kellebrew Bagwell; two sons, Christopher Bagwell of Napa, California and Michael Bagwell (Jessie) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Pat Mattingly (Bob) of Louisville; and two brothers, Ronnie Bagwell (Glenna) and Donnie Bagwell (Connie), all of Lebanon.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, Sept. 7, at Lebanon Baptist Church with burial in Lebanon National Cemetery where military rites will be conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard. Dr. David Whitlock, the church pastor, will officiate.
Pallbearers are Ed Bagwell, Donnie Bagwell Jr., Stephen Bagwell, Bobby Mattingly Jr., Todd Sawyer, and Justin Southworth.
