Columbus, GA- Ms Rhoda A. Hall of Columbus, passed away Tuesday at Midtown Medical Center. She was 47 years old and resided at 3065 Waddell Drive.
Born in Ft, Benning, GA., she was the daughter of Ms Jacqueline Cody and the late Earl Hall. Residing in Columbus most of her life, she attended William H. Spencer High School and graduated high school in Germany. She received her Associates Degree from CVCC and was employed as a CNA at Columbus Hospice House, She was a devout member of South Columbus United Methodist Church where she was active as a Greeter, served with the Hospitality Ministry and the Bereavement Committee.
Surviving other than her mother are one daughter, Courtney R. Miller; one sister, Renee Loving(Charles); aunts and uncles, Gwendolyn Franklin Dedman, Carolyn Lewis and Bernard Hall; nieces and nephews, William Wiley(Tiffanie), Cody Loving, Candance Loving and Cameron Loving; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Rhoda will be laid to rest at Evergreen Memorial Park on her birthday, Saturday, June 25, 2016 following a Eleven O'clock Celebration of Life service in the sanctuary of South Columbus United Methodist Church, officiated by Pastor Reggie Williams. Visitation 2:00 til 7:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. The cortege will depart from the residence Saturday at 10:30 A.M. Arrangements entrusted to Progressive Funeral Home, Inc. Rhoda was the most loving and kind person I have ever known. She cared for both of my parents until she became ill. No one else was as loving and kind after she had to stop working. I still kept up with her on facebook. She will be missed so much but I am thankful she is with Jesus and suffers no more.

Someone that will always be remembered by me, Rhoda Hall, was one of the kindest people I ever met. We worked together at Columbus Hospice and she taught me so much, I was a new nurse with hospice in 2006, and much of what I learned about taking care of hospice patients was from Rhoda, We were friends and continued our friendship, via face book, after I left. Dear Rhoda, i'm so sorry you aren't here. i haven't seen you in a few years, but will never forget the loving, caring, professional way you always treated your patients, and were always kind, considerate, loving and helpful to everyone you met.
