Columbus, Georgia- Annie Ester Stringer Sapp 77, 451 Harold Street, Columbus, Ga. passed Monday April 4, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital, Columbus, Ga., funeral services will be held Saturday April 9, 2011 2:00 pm from Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. J. H. Flakes Sr. Officiating, burial will follow in Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church, Salem Ala, visitation will be Friday April 8, 2011 from 1-5 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Sapp was born September 16, 1933 in Salem Ala. to the late Annie Pearl Stringer Johnson and Frazier Stringer, she was a card processor at Bibb Mill, and a member of fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church she is predeceased by her husband John Henry Sapp, two sisters; Addie Mae Scott, Mae Katherine Braswell, a daughter Diane Stringer.
Mrs. Sapp is surived by four daughters Hattie Pearl (Howard) Fluellen, Miami Fl., Chris Ann (Johnny) Sterdivant, Linda Faye Sapp, Little Ester ( Ira) Doughty all of Columbus, Ga., three sisters; Mae Ella Arnold, Mandy Lee Lawrence, Johnnie Mae Miller, 13, grandchildren, Gregory, Sharman, Sofonia, Anthony, Jimmie, Keystella, Trixty, Sandardo, Jamall, Natasha, Danyell, Niesha, Steven, 24, great, grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of loving relatives and friends.
