Smiths Station, AL - Mr. Calvin Frederick "Bruh"Lindsay, 69, of Smiths Station, AL passed Sunday, October 7, 2018.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. EST at Taylor Funeral Home and a Funeral service will Monday, October 15, 2018 at St. Mark AME Zion Church, East Chicago, IN according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc.
Mr. Lindsay was born on November 23, 1948 in East Chicago, IN to the late Elijah Lindsay and Armmie Fluellen Lindsay. He served in the United States Navy and retired from Arcelor Mittal after 38 years of employment.
Survivors include his loving wife, Lurene Lindsay; three sons, Malcom Lindsay, Johnny Berry, Jr. both of Gary, IN and Frederick (Kate) Lindsay of Oaklawn, IL; two sisters, Charlene Alford and Annie (Joe) Reid both of East Chicago, IL; three brothers, Kenneth (Essie) Lindsay, Leon Lindsay both of East Chicago, IL and Elijah (Lena) Lindsay of Gary, IN; seven grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host other relatives and friends.
