Columbus, Georgia - Mrs. Judy Ann (Rozier) Rogers, 72, passed Fri, April 2, 2021 at Piedmont Regional Healthcare graveside services will be held 12:00 noon Sat, April 10, 2021 at Green Acres Cemetery 1485 Schatulga Rd, Col, GA with Rev. Sherryl H. Sneed, Pastor of Peters Chapel A.M.E Church officiating according to Hill-Watson Memorial Chapel at Rose Hill LLC., 2919 Hamilton Road Col, GA. Visitation will be Fri, April 9, 2021 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Rogers was born to the late Charlie and Julia D. Rozier on July 17, 1948. She was self-employed at Rogers Grocery & Ribs for many years. Mrs. Judy Rogers was a nurturer who catered to those in need and gave freely from her heart. She had a quiet strength that afforded her the resolve to accomplish much, even amidst adversity. Judy successfully ran and significantly increased the customer base of the Rogers Grocery and Ribs establishment in Columbus GA over the past decade. She loved her family tremendously and unconditionally and she treasured planning family gatherings to maintain the kindred connection. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Julius Rogers her son Cory Lamount Rozier. Also her Three brothers Sandy M. Rozier, Abraham "Charlie" Rozier, Johnny M. Rozier., and her sister Maggie J. (Rozier) Roberts. She leaves to cherish her precious memories, Daughter Talithia (Timothy) Renay Rozier Lawson. Sisters, Beulah M. Rozier, Mildred L. (Rozier) Roberts. Four Grandchildren, Talithia (Micheal) Shante Lawson Cummings, Timothy Shamiel Lawson, Teanna (Jihad) L (Rozier) Hameen, Kierra L. Rozier. Five Great-Grandchildren, Cairo M. Cummings, Nyle I. Cummings, Egypt L. Cummings. Azuria K. Rozier, Jasir C. Hameen. And a host of other relatives and friends.
