
Funeral services for Dale Winston James, 65, of Leesville will be held at 2 p.m. on Oct. 28 at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville. Burial will follow in the Castor Cemetery under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Oct. 27 and from 1 p.m. until the time of service on Oct. 28 at the funeral home.
Dale, the son of Carl Winston James and Margaret Carlock James was born Jan. 2, 1947, in Leesville. He passed away on Oct. 26, 2012, in Alexandria.
Dale was a lifetime member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. He was Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a farmer and a furniture and mobile home salesman.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl James.
He is survived by his sons, Chad James of Sulphur, Leath James of Leesville and Brent James of Welch; daughter, Rebecca Laughlin of Sulphur; mother, Margaret Carlock James Williams of Leesville; special friend, Becky James of Leesville; and grandchildren, Trevor, Trey, Katelyn, Tyler, Cole, Killian and Jessie.
