Brenda saved me when I was desperate and in need. She mothered [kept] my son, Henry [Peanut], over ten years ago, and along with him, myself, and my family [fellow Rocky Mount natives], we will miss Brenda. She has made a difference in so many lives and I know she will never be forgotten.
