A Celebration in honor of her will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 23, 2016 at Cravens Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Craig A. Davis, Sr., will officiate.
Christy was born on December 4, 1956 in Denison, TX to Mary Alice Lane. She was educated in both Denison and Dallas Public Schools and worked as a general laborer throughout her life. Christy was a very sweet and kind hearted person. She was loving and fun to be around. Whether it was her comedic sense of humor or her dancing, she was always the "life of the party."
She was preceded in death by her mother and brother Ricky Lane. He memories will be cherished by: her daughters, LaNora Bunn (Cedric) of Sherman, Raymel Lane of Dallas, sister Sandra Lane of Desert Hot Springs, CA, grandchildren Markayla Rockins, Mya Gilliss and Caleb Thomas, special friends Lawrence Rockins and Loretta "Gail" Golston and many other family members and friends.
