Bill passed away peacefully at his home in Philadelphia on August 3, 2020 at the age of 91. He was the loving and long-time companion to Esther Eglick and a father figure to her children, Karen and Richard Cohen and Gary Schwartz. Bill was predeceased by his brother Jack, and was the brother-in-law of Judy. Bill was Professor of Law Emeritus at Rutgers School of Law – Camden. He earned his B.S. magna cum laude at Syracuse University and graduated magna cum laude from Syracuse University's College of Law where he was editor-in-chief of the law review.
