Saw him play at the Boom Boom Room. Nice guy and great lap steel player.
He will be missed.

A talented musician, his unique and unusual style of playing made him one of a kind. Heartfelt condolences to the Roulette family, so very sorry for your loss, may God be with you all to help you through this very difficult time of your loss.

Oh dear Freddie.
I remember seeing you play with Albert Collins at the Green Earth Cafe in San Francisco on Market Street.
I believe you met Steve Kimok that night too.
I'm 70 years old now and have been playing lap steel since I was in high school.
I'll never forget the inspiration that I received at night.
I'll never forget your famous "frog dance" in the jam after the club closed.
May we meet again on the other side.
