Congressman Kolbe was a very kind man and a great representative of my home district. The Congressman and his staffer Bernadette helped me immensely with an important matter back in 1993. I’ll never forget their kindness. My condolences to his husband, family and loved ones.

Jim Kolbe was tireless leader who led the effort to pass the NAFTA Wwhich had great positive impact on the economies of the US, Canada and Mexico. Always positive, optimistic and in good humor, we will miss him. He was a good friend. RIP Jim.

Met Jim in Vietnam serving on Swiftboat assignment. Remained friends after the military, although at a distance from Tucson/Wash DC - Gig Harbor, WA. Jim was a thoughtful and generous person. He will be missed. RIP Jim..
