Here I stand on useless sand
Without your hand to guide me through
Your essence lingers through my soul
But its lonely here without you
The tragedy seems like one big test
But I'm assured that your at rest
Oh Mom how I'll miss miss your smile

She liked Janis,Jim,Kurt, gospel, classic and rock.
She believed in Jesus, freedom, and love.
She taught me to forgive everyone,
even myself.
She taught me to grow plants and to
cherish what God has given us.
My Mom "was Grace". She has been
there for everyone and "actually"
listened. She is missed and a piece
of me died with her.-I LOVE YOU MOM

Shannon was my little sister and I was her big brother. Shannon believed in Jesus and she knew who John Hagee was and Pastor Arnold Murray. She went with me to Seventh Day Adventist Church. She believed in God and we believed that the word of faith is in us and if we confess with our mouth and believe in our heart that God raised Jesus from the dead that we would be saved. And we are not without hope.
In Thessalonians 4 its says "That we should not be ignorant of those who have fallen asleep but if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, AND SHANNON BELIEVED THAT,
that even so God will bring with him those who sleep in Jesus, and we will meet Him in the clouds in the air and we will always be with the Lord, therefore comfort each other with these words."
And I just want to say for the children to love your brothers and sisters because a day like this comes when they are taken.
And the Lord gives and the Lord takes away but blessed is the name
of the Lord.
Shannon I loved you.
Love from your brother Eddie

Remember to always show your family how much you really care for them.
A woman, Shannon, died in a car crash, Friday, August 12th, 2005
She was a mother, a wife, a sister, and a daughter.
She never intended to leave her family, but she did.
If you have ever had a loved one lost, you know how it feels. If not, you could imagine. I know because she was my Mother, and my best friend.
Remember to send affection to your loved ones, because you'll never know when it is too late.
God Bless, Angie Sullivan

My darling daughter Shannon:
Today is your birthday 8/25/05 you would have been just 42. So young. I passed up my last chance to hug you and tell you I loved you but please know that I had faith you would make it out of your tribulations. I felt so close to you and loved you as much as a Mothers heart could love. Rest in the Lords hands and get the peace and happiness you deserved. Beloved daughter I will always love and cherish the time I had with you. MOM

to my brother larry, and his children, and shannon's family,

my heartfelt grief and condolences are being sent to all of you. i do not know the pain felt from losing a child (no matter the age), but i do know the pain of losing a spouse and a grandparent, a parent, and a brother, with the last two deaths occurring: (1)parent-2000, (2)brother-2004. i can honestly say that you never get over the death and loss of a loved one, but as time passes (a lot of time), the pain starts to ease away, very slowly, but it does'll know when it has by the fact that you'll be able to talk about your loved one with a smile on your face,(maybe a tear or two, but not the incapacitating, heartbreaking deluge that it used to be),and the memories shared are of all the good times that were had, and you will feel a lessening of pain and grief. but know that you will never completely get rid of all the pain and grief, but you will struggle to get through day after day, not so much for yourself, but because shannon would want no less from those she loved, and of course there has to be as much family support around for the lovely children she's had to leave.
I found that when times were too rough on me, i could talk to my grief counselor or attend a meeting and i would be relieved of some of my woes, which was a part of my healing experience, and i'm thankful to all those people who helped me. please know that none of you are alone in this, and that there are people out there who can and will prayers are with all who have been affected by this tragedy. with love and sympathy,
kim boyster

I'm going to miss that wry smile of her's. She was not afraid to speak out for justice. She was tough and yet tender. She could not hide her angelic nature, which in essence was her. Because of this, She is in God's grace. I feel honored to have known her for the brief period we all have on this rock. Peace and Love to the wonderful family that nutured her.

Shannon was my very favorite cousin. When we were little, we would spend the weekends together. We rode our bikes to the little store off of Tiara in Van Nuys. We bought candy of course. We were close in age so we enjoyed the same things. I loved my weekends at Aunt Yvonne's house playing with Shannon. I will cherish these memories of her in my heart.

My thoughts and prayers are with Shannon's family. I love you all.

We knew Shannon from when she and Yvonne, Dave, Charmaine lived in California. She had a good, loving spirit and I know that she was loved deeply. Please take comfort in knowing that she is with The Lord and at Peace. She will always be with you, just look into her childrens eyes and she will be there. She is watching over you and smiling. We love you.
