Genniebea Davis Obituary
Genniebea M. Davis, 70, of D Street, Waynesboro, departed this life on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, at her residence.
She was born February 12, 1938, in Augusta County, Virginia, a daughter of the late Clemon N. and Helen V. (Curry) McCauley.
She was a member of Pleasant View United Methodist Church.
Her parents, husband, Robert L. Davis Sr., three sons, Robert L. Davis Jr., Danny Davis and Tyrone D. Davis, and one sister, Helena 0. Martin, preceded her in death.
Genniebea leaves to mourn, seven daughters, Rosetta Richardson and her husband, Ronnie, Jeniful Davis and her fianc?, Joe Pettus, Mary Lou Davis, Shelva Wallace and her husband, Carella, Koretta Jones and her husband, Darrell, Barbara Alexander and her husband, Frank, all of Waynesboro, Virginia, and Teresa Davis of Staunton, Virginia; two sons, Roger Davis and his wife, Stella, of Biloxi, Mississippi, and Tony Davis of Waynesboro, Virginia; one brother, Lee Howard McCauley "Tody" of Fishersville, Virginia.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special friends, Susan Nicholas, Pauline Wallace and Marva Eaves; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
A service will be conducted 12 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2008, at Pleasant View United Methodist Church. Burial will be at the Riverview Cemetery.
Public viewing will be from 12 until 7 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2008, at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church.
The family will receive friends at the residence.
Professional services provided by McCutcheon's Funeral Home.
